Finally, job hunting that isn't a full-time job.

Job hunting eats your time. Hours of scrolling that end in a bad match, or in silence.

Gotto is a dog you train to be your personal job hunter. Send them after the directions you're chasing, and they bring back only the roles worth your time.

  1. 1

    Give it a scent

Our intuitive onboarding reads what you share and suggests up to three career directions for your Gottos to hunt.

  2. 2

    Send it hunting

It works the market on your schedule and checks every role against the real listing — no ghosts, no dupes.

  3. 3

    See what comes back

A short list of roles worth your time, each with a fit score and the reasoning behind it. Tell it what's off, and the next hunt comes back sharper.

Giving Back

Gotto helps you find a job. You help a real dog find a home.

We donate 10% of every paid Gotto purchase to Best Friends Animal Society. As Gotto grows, so will our support for dogs, shelters, and the people helping them find homes.

A better way to hunt for work.

How often does a Gotto go on a hunt?

Each Gotto follows its configured weekly schedule. Hunt Now adds an extra hunt without moving that schedule. Every completed hunt uses one shared credit. Pause your gotto to stop weekly hunts.

What is a Career Scent?

A Career Scent is a career direction built from your onboarding: where you want to go next, the roles you want, and the industries or companies that interest you.

How does a Gotto hunt work?

Each Gotto is assigned to one Career Scent. It sifts through 1000s of job posts and captures about 50-100 current open roles related to your background that were posted in the last 30 days. From there, Gotto validates them, then scores the strongest matches against your experience, goals, and career story. You see the roles worth your time, not a flood of listings.

Do I still apply for jobs myself?

Yes. Gotto finds and evaluates opportunities, while you choose which roles to pursue and apply directly through the official job posting.

How does Gotto decide whether a role is worth seeing?

Gotto considers your verified experience, career story, compensation goals, work preferences, and the focus of the Career Scent. It shows roles that clear its match threshold.

Can I steer what my Gotto looks for?

Yes. You can refine each Career Scent with companies, industries, and guidance, give each Gotto its own priorities, and update your profile, location, schedule, and work preferences.

Why is it called Gotto?

Gotto is shorthand for the Lagotto Romagnolo, an Italian dog breed known for hunting truffles. The Lagotto is the only purebred dog recognized as a specialized truffle searcher, making it the perfect inspiration for a personal job hunter that searches for opportunities worth finding.
